Welcome: Alessandro Belluzzo joining the board of the I Tennis Foundation

A unique project – a completely non-profit tennis academy – but nevertheless the good fortune to meet and involve special people in our journey. I Tennis Foundation is happy to announce the addition to its board of Alessandro Umberto Belluzzo, founder of Belluzzo International Partners and Trust & Wealth. A great tennis fan and always attentive to social inclusion projects and support for young talents, Alessandro has already involved our association in a series of prestigious events useful for promoting the project and supporting fundraising. The two companies, which have long supported tennis professionals in their careers by taking care of the more delicate aspects of wealth planning and management, have decided to engage in 2022 in organising a series of meetings and in supporting and developing the I Tennis Foundation. The cycle of 5 meetings aims to cover and celebrate, through the testimonies of champions and journalists of yesterday and today, the history of the oldest and most famous tennis clubs and tournaments in Italy and Europe. The format of the meetings includes, alongside a confrontation between champions and professionals, a tennis clinic for enthusiasts held in unique locations and with the participation of distinguished guests, with the aim of also raising funds for the I Tennis Foundation. Matches will be held in conjunction with the 2022 European tournaments, and at their venues: Monte Carlo Rolex Open; BNL Roma Internazionali D’Italia; Wimbledon; Next Gen; ATP Finals. The first appointment is scheduled for 15 April 2022 at the Bordighera Tennis Club. A symbolic and not casual choice that of the first Italian Tennis Club – second in the world only to Wimbledon – to retrace the stages of tennis history up to today’s evolution in terms of organisation and management of champions and federations.

Over the years, Bordighera has been a reference point for tournaments culminating in the famous Monte Carlo tournament, the only one to have survived to modern times. And on the history of tennis in Bordighera and the evolution of the tennis world, we refer to the video recording of the webinar held in November 2021 “From Tennis “at tea time” to the “Tennis Company”

The meetings will also contribute to fundraising for the I Tennis Foundation, the first non-profit School and Tennis Academy, aimed at offering a future in the world of sport to young talents unable to afford the expenses for their professional training.Alessandro Belluzzo, one of the promoters and organisers of the cycle of meetings, plays an active role in the I Tennis Foundation as a support in the training of young talents to prepare them for the off-court challenges, including financial ones, that will accompany them in their careers.
