Neila Sefić and Gabriel Deza Huete Scholarships

In the spring of 2022, following the attack in Ukraine, I Tennis was committed to helping Mariia and Zhozefina (Josy), two Ukrainian girls and young tennis promises, to escape from Odessa together with their mothers and travel to Turin, where they found hospitality at a church facility and the opportunity to continue training. 

In April, Mariia was invited to the third semi-finalists of the tournament played during LTC 2021, consisting of a special training session with the participation of Francesca Schiavone and Gipo Arbino, and had the opportunity to train with peers and to play tennis with Lorenzo Sonego.

Mariia and Josy will be awarded two scholarships that will allow them to participate in tournaments with a view to climbing the rankings and improving their ranking.

In addition to their great growth potential and passion for tennis, these girls possess the fundamental values that are among the pillars of I Tennis, such as education and humility.
