The first camp of the season for the 12 Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura Little Tennis Champions has come to an end. The week spent on the courts of the Circolo della Stampa Sporting in Turin allowed the little champions to train intensively to arrive prepared for the upcoming tournaments, being able to count on the work of the entire I Tennis Foundation staff and the advice of our super coaches and mentors Gipo Arbino and Emilio Sanchez.
On-court work with the former Spanish ATP number 7 focused on improving footwork and the clay court game, while with Gipo and the coaching staff, the scholars worked more on tactics and match simulation in both singles and doubles.
Also very important for the youngsters were the numerous classroom sessions, starting with the mental coaching sessions by Stefano Massari, assisted by the foundation’s president Simone Bongiovanni, the sports communication and sports ethics courses by La Scuola dei Campioni, and the mindfulness practices by Dr. Chiavarino.
Finally, on Wednesday, July 17th, Sporting courts hosted the press conference for the presentation of the third edition of the Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura LTC project, which officially sanctioned the start of the 2024-2025 season.
The next appointment is now set for August 8th in Cuneo, where our scholars will take part in special training sessions with Gipo Arbino in preparation for the ITF J30 Cuneo tournament, which kicks off on 10 August.
