Cuneo, January 7, 2026 – Applications will officially open tomorrow for Cuneo Tennis Talents 2026, the new charitable scholarship program promoted by I Tennis Foundation, with the support of Fondazione CRC, main sponsor Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano, and the other project partners. The program is aimed at young tennis talents from the Province of Cuneo.
The initiative is designed to support 8 boys and girls born in 2011, 2012 and 2013, offering them a sporting and educational development pathway that takes into account tennis potential, the family’s economic situation and, above all, passion, ambition and motivation for tennis.
Selected athletes will take part in a structured scholarship program that includes tennis training activities based on the four fundamental pillars of tennis – Technical, Tactical, Athletic and Mental – along with an educational support pathway aimed at fostering balanced personal growth both on and off the court.
Following the selection phase, the program will take place between February and April 2026, with the official launch in Alba (CN), where the press presentation event will be held on Thursday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Municipal Palace.
Throughout the project, top-level coaches and international professionals will work alongside the technical staff of I Tennis Foundation. These include Gipo Arbino, long-time coach of Lorenzo Sonego, Damiano Fiorucci, athletic coach of Lorenzo Musetti, Ivan Ljubicic, former world No. 3 and last coach of Roger Federer, whose Academy the players will attend, and Claudio Zimaglia, former physiotherapist of Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner.
Coaches from the players’ clubs will also be invited to take part in all special training sessions, encouraging technical exchange and continuity in the athletes’ development.
In addition to sporting growth, the project places strong emphasis on personal and educational development, considered by the Foundation to be a key element in the human and athletic growth of young players.
