Thank you Fondazione CRC: unforgettable emotions in Cuneo with Graf and Agassi

A truly unforgettable day for I Tennis Foundation scholars involved in the extraordinary event “Dialoghi sul talento” organized by Fondazione CRC and staged yesterday in Cuneo. A unique opportunity to experience together with an audience of great occasions (more than 3500 people including students from schools in the Province and spectators) the stories of two legends in the history of tennis: Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, 30 Grand Slam titles between the two of them and able to mark 20 years of great tennis with their exploits.

The morning at the Palasport in Cuneo then also featured the young talents of the Intesa Sanpaolo Assicura Little Tennis Champions charity program, interviewed on stage by journalist Alberto Brandi together with Simone Bongiovanni, co-founder and president of I Tennis Foundation.

From their big wins to their relationships with their parents, from their rapid rise in professional tennis to their incredible love story. The careers of Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf have several points of contact, and the two stars gave the audience in attendance unique lessons on the role of sport in their lives and the importance it had in enabling them to express the best version of themselves.

The event, promoted by the Fondazione CRC and carried out in partnership with the I Tennis Foundation, Stefanie Graf’s Children for Tomorrow and the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education, and with the organizational support of Collisioni, then had an exciting appendix at the Country Club of Cuneo, where Steffi Graf, a champion able to stay at the top of the WTA rankings for 377 weeks, hit the court with children from tennis schools in the province of Cuneo and with the talents of the I Tennis Foundation.

“It was a privilege to be part of a unique event that gave beautiful emotions to all our scholars,” explained Simone Bongiovanni. ”The welcome, attention and support towards us by Fondazione CRC and its incredible staff was really special. We created this association to give an opportunity to those who have none, but without entities like Fondazione CRC, which strongly believe in talent and the principle of giving back, alone we would not be able to enhance the ambition and qualities of our young tennis players. I would like to thank Fondazione CRC on behalf of our entire board of directors and the families of our scholarship recipients: you have produced a wonderful event and inspired our youngsters: we are proud to have you by our side.”
