A Special Week in Turin for the LTC Scholars: Training, Learning and Unique Experiences During the Nitto ATP Finals

It was a special week for the scholars and the team of I Tennis Foundation, engaged in an intense training camp filled with practice sessions, events and educational activities during the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. An experience that brought together sport, growth and fun, strengthening the journey of the Little Tennis Champions project.

The scholars, born between 2011 and 2012, trained at the prestigious Royal Club Torino, guided by coaches Riccardo Sosso, Alfredo Santacroce and Simone Bongiovanni, with the special participation of Gipo Arbino—super coach and member of the I Tennis Foundation technical committee.
Their multidisciplinary program also included athletic sessions led by Tommaso Garello and Andrea Dimauro, and mental training coordinated by Simone Bongiovanni, LTC program’s team manager.

The entire team provided the kids with fundamental tools to approach their sporting path with awareness, discipline and clear objectives.

During the camp, the staff also noticed significant progress compared to the work carried out over the summer: all the scholars showed clear improvements, the result of consistent effort in recent months and the maturity with which they are approaching this journey. Continuous dialogue with the staff and the strength of the group once again proved to be a key element in their development.

The personal coaches of the players were also present, highlighting the importance of full alignment between the technical team of I Tennis Foundation and the home clubs of each scholar.

The Turin experience was further enriched by special activities outside the tennis courts. The scholars attended training sessions and matches of the ATP Finals at the Inalpi Arena—an extraordinary opportunity to breathe the atmosphere of elite tennis and see the world’s top players up close.

Important moments also came from the activities organized with our partners. At the main headquarters of ZTE Italia, the scholars were warmly welcomed by CEO Mr. Hu Kun and his team, spending a full day immersed in technology, education and fun. Digital workshops and interactive activities offered them meaningful personal and cultural growth.

Another memorable visit took place at one of the many DentalFeel centers, where the scholars explored the world of dentistry in a playful and interactive way. They stepped into the roles of doctors and patients—and even managed to play a few tennis rallies inside the clinic!

These days in Turin once again confirmed the strength and importance of the Little Tennis Champions program, which aims to support young talents by giving them valuable opportunities not only from a sporting point of view, but also on a human and educational level. The lessons learned go far beyond tennis: discipline, resilience, teamwork and respect were at the heart of every session.

Experiences like this are made possible thanks to the commitment of I Tennis Foundation and the support of our partners, who believe in the growth of future generations. It was a week the scholars will never forget—another meaningful step in their journey toward the future, both on and off the court.
