Turin, 6 June 2025 – Applications are now officially open for Little Tennis Champions 2025-2026 for Italy, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro, the new charity scholarship programme promoted by I Tennis Foundation in collaboration with its partners for 12 new children born in 2011 and 2012.
Beneficiaries will be selected based on their tennis potential and their family’s financial circumstances.
Where applicants have equal talent, kids from families with fewer opportunities and who have no other help or support for their tennis career will be chosen.
The kids will be selected in the states indicated and included in an annual tennis scholarship programme that includes technical, tactical, athletic and mental improvement training.
The special training sessions on each pillar will be led by a top coach who will work alongside the rest of the technical staff: Gipo Arbino, Ivan Ljubicic, Emilio Sanchez, Simone Tartarini and Omar Camporese for the technical-tactical part, Damiano Fiorucci for the athletic part, and Stefano Massari for the mental part.
The general programme includes assistance with the scholarship holder’s tennis training, including a structured mental improvement programme and participation in eight international Tennis Europe U14 and U16 circuit tournaments.
At the same time, the scholarship will also include a compulsory high-level educational programme, as the Tennis Foundation considers this type of activity to be fundamental for the individual and sporting growth of the young people.
Courses in English and Italian, sports communication, Learning by the Champions and education on smartphones and new technologies will be included.
The plan for each of the selected children is shared with their families and the clubs where the scholarship holder is registered.
The scholarship plan lasts for one year and, at the end of this period, depending on the available budget, the Tennis Foundation will evaluate the launch of a more specific programme for the four scholarship holders who are deemed most deserving and in need of assistance.
From today until 22 June, you can submit your application free of charge by following the steps indicated at this link: itennisfoundation.com/ltc-2025-26/
