Turin, the soul of the project

I Tennis is based in Turin, its members are professional Turinese who care very much to the connection with the city.

The first three editions of Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni Little Tennis Champions were carried out in the four-year period 2021-2025, while in July 2025 12 new recruits from 2011 and 2012, 6 male and 6 female, from Italy, Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro with a press conference presentation in Turin in the presence of the Authorities, partners, honorary members and supporters.

Turin will be the starting point of the scholarship program for young people with an introductory period in which a group of scholars will be created and local initiatives will be organized in cooperation with our partners and sponsors.

The City of Turin, the Piedmont Region, CRC Foundation, Ferrero Foundation, Cecilia Gilardi Foundation, CRC Foundation, Laureus Italy Foundation, and Sport and Health, have sponsored the project and intend to support it.

The Mayor of Turin Chiara Appendino, the President of the Region Alberto Cirio and Ms. Evelina Christillin, President of the Egyptian Museum and former head of the Turin 2006 Olympic Committee, were awarded honorary membership of the I Tennis Foundation and strongly support the project.

Important Turin brands are linked to the Little Tennis Champions project and support the I Tennis Foundation in this magnificent initiative. Lorenzo Sonego and his coach Gipo Arbino support the project and will personally participate in the training activities.

Events will be organised in the city during the three-year period and the citizens and all local institutions will be invited to participate.

2021-2025

Turin and the Nitto ATP Finals

From 2021, Turin will host the ATP Finals, the tournament that brings together the world’s eight best tennis players at the end of the season.

It will be a historic event for the city, which for a two-week period every year will become the world capital of tennis!

I Tennis, in synergy with its partners and in particular with the Italian Tennis Federation and the City of Turin, will organise a two-week intensive internship in the city for the young athletes of the academy who will be able to take an example from the greatest champions ever.

The best 4 kids emerging from the Italian selections for the Little Tennis Champions project will be hosted at the Nitto ATP Finals 2021-2025

Our little fellows will get to know the city and the people of Turin will get to know them!
