Beautiful experience for the boys in the ITF J60 under 18 tournament held April 19-26 at the Tennis Club de Menton, where Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni Little Tennis Champions program scholar Alessandra Fiorillo authoritatively won the title in the women’s doubles paired with France’s Emma Wiesenfeld.
For Fiorillo, this is her third success of the season in doubles, following her previous victories in the ITF J100 in Palermo and the ITF J60 in Pescara. This new triumph underscores his growth and solidity on the international junior circuit.
The other scholars in the program – Mattia Cappellari, Francesca Galli, Alessia Antici and Giorgia Buccinotti – also took part in the tournament, playing important matches for their tennis and personal growth path. For Francesca Galli, in particular, the tournament on the Blue Coast was an important test to assess where her physical condition stands after the long period of stop due to her ankle injury.

Participation in the ITF J60 in Mentone offered the young athletes another valuable opportunity to compete against high-level opponents from different nations, contributing significantly to their mental and attitudinal development in the competitive environment.
In May, after the special training sessions in Rome with Gipo Arbino and Stefano Massari and the graduation ceremony, the boys will compete in the prestigious ITF J500 “Trofeo Bonfiglio” tournament in Milan, an event belonging to the top category of the ITF under-18 circuit that is counted among the most important youth tournaments worldwide.
