With the support of Intesa Sanpaolo Assicurazioni and all other sponsors, partners, honorary members, testimonials and top supporting coaches, I Tennis Foundation is pleased to announce the competitive schedule and event calendar for the first half of the new year.
Compared to the original program, I Tennis Foundation has made an extra effort and added 4 tournaments for the most deserving kids in the program, who will have more chances to gain international experience, raise their tennis level and advance in international ranking.
It starts again in February from North Africa with two high-level ITF U18 tournaments: the J500, the queen category of ITF Juniors tournaments, from Cairo, Egypt, and the J300 from Casablanca, Morocco.
Upon their return to Italy, scholars and full staff will meet from February 27 to March 2 at the Villa Reale Tennis Club in Monza for special training sessions with the participation of Gipo Arbino and a team exhibition against the hosts to warm up their engines for the continuation of the tournaments.
In March we head to Turkey to Antalya for two consecutive ITF tournaments, J100 and J60 on clay.
Spring will see the scholars busy starting in April between Italy and France in the ITF U18 tournaments J200 in Cap d’Ail, J200 in Florence and J60 in Mentone, which will then lead to the grand finale in Milan for the ITF J500 “Trofeo Bonfiglio” Internazionali d’Italia Juniores, one of the most prestigious ITF youth tournaments in the world.
Concurrently with the international tournaments will be the May Charity Night in Rome on the occasion of the Internazionali d’Italia, which has been a regular event for a few years now with top coaches and testimonials who will reward the youngsters, engaged that week in special training sessions with the participation of Stefano Massari, Matteo Berrettini’s historic mental coach.
Finally, from May 15 to 17, I Tennis Foundation will be an official partner at the National Congress of the Italian Association for Personnel Management (AIDP), where the guest of honor will be one of the best-known ATP No. 1s in history, to be unveiled soon.
Meanwhile, the Board of Directors is working on the new program that will start in June with the aim of continuing to facilitate the path of talented youngsters who lack the resources to express their potential and support them in their tennis and life journey.
