I Tennis Foundation in 2026 between special sessions, international competitions, educational paths and new local talents

After an exciting and successful 2025, I Tennis Foundation, together with all the partners who support its projects every day, is pleased to announce the competitive program and events calendar for the first half of 2026.

Once again, the Foundation has put great effort into building a well-structured, high-level calendar, with the goal of offering its scholarship players real opportunities for sporting growth, international experiences and progression within the Tennis Europe international circuit.

The year 2026 kicked off with a prestigious appointment: I Tennis Foundation decided to add special training sessions for its scholarship players and to allocate part of the budget to support Nadja Knezevic, who took part in the qualifying rounds of the 2026 Les Petits As tournament in Tarbes, Super Category event of the Tennis Europe Junior Tour considered one of the most important youth tournaments in the world.

Nadja successfully came through the qualifying rounds, defeating two Top 50 U14 players, and is now fighting match after match in the main draw of the tournament.

The program will continue in March with a trip to Croatia, at the Ivan Ljubičić Tennis Academy in Lussino, where the scholarship players will compete in two important Tennis Europe U14 and U16 tournaments. The event will also feature the special presence of Ivan Ljubičić, former world No. 3 and former coach of Roger Federer.

In April, the international journey will go on with a new European experience at the TE U16 Category 3 tournament in Tirana, Albania, continuing the players’ path of growth and high-level competition.

As tradition dictates, May will be one of the most intense and exciting months of the year, set in the unique atmosphere of the Foro Italico in Rome. Here, the prestigious U16 Super Category tournament will take place, with some of the players competing in the same venues that host the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.

On Monday, May 4, the Little Tennis Champions Charity Night will be held, a key event in the Foundation’s calendar. Alongside the young players, top coaches and top players who support I Tennis Foundation will also be in attendance.

During the same week, the players will take part in special training sessions featuring outstanding figures such as Stefano Massari, long-time mental coach of Matteo Berrettini and Gipo Arbino, Sonego’s historic coach.

Alongside the Little Tennis Champions project, we are also pleased to announce the launch of the new Cuneo Tennis Talents 2026 program, developed with the support of Fondazione CRC, main sponsor Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano, and the other project partners. After an initial selection phase, the program will officially start on February 13 with a press event at the Municipality of Alba, and will conclude on April 19 with the final ceremony and the presentation of participation diplomas to the selected players at the Country Club Cuneo.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors is already working on the new LTC program, which will start in June. The goal remains the same: to support young talents who do not have the necessary resources to fully express their potential, and to continue developing a more complete pathway for the most promising players in the years to come.
