An experience of great sporting and human value has just come to an end for the I Tennis Foundation scholars, who spent an intense week of training and learning at the prestigious Forte Village Resort in Santa Margherita di Pula.
An incredible location that hosted a new chapter of the Little Tennis Champions 2025–26 project, dedicated to the development of young tennis talents.
During the event, the players alternated between athletic preparation and on-court training sessions, guided by the I Tennis Foundation team, with coaches Riccardo Sosso, Tommaso Garello, and Simone Bongiovanni, who worked on the mental preparation both on court and in the classroom. A complete and multidisciplinary path, fully in line with the Foundation’s educational and sporting philosophy.
A key highlight of the experience was the presence of Damiano Fiorucci, one of the most respected athletic coach in the tennis community, currently working with Lorenzo Musetti and formerly with Fabio Fognini and Lorenzo Sonego. His sessions offered a powerful learning opportunity for the young athletes, who were able to discover the methods and principles of elite physical preparation.
Another great advantage of the week was the chance for the scholars to watch live matches from some important ITF 25K tournaments, held at the resort during their journey in Sardinia. It was a unique opportunity to observe professional tennis up close and draw inspiration from international-level players.
For everyone involved, it was a week of personal growth, teamwork, and improvement, with clear progress already visible in their technical, physical, and mental skills.
The experience was further enriched by special meetings with Lorenzo Giannuzzi, CEO of Forte Village Resort, and Alessandro Porcu, Director of the Resort’s Tennis Club, who greeted the players and expressed their appreciation for the Foundation’s work.
Alongside their daily commitment, there were also moments of relaxation, fun, and sharing — made even more special by the beautiful setting of Forte Village and the enthusiasm of the group.
The Little Tennis Champions 2025–26 project, supported by key partners such as Yokohama Tyres, ZTE, and Synergie, continues to promote personal growth and passion for tennis, offering young players a 360-degree learning experience.
I Tennis Foundation renews its mission: supporting families most in need of care and attention, and investing in the sporting, human, and educational growth of tomorrow’s champions.
